New titles hit the shelves at Rutledge Public Library

RUTLEDGE – Readers of all ages have something new to look forward to at the Rutledge Public Library as a fresh selection of books has recently been added to the shelves, offering everything from cozy mysteries and gripping thrillers to heartwarming fiction and popular children’s favorites.

The latest arrivals span multiple genres and formats, ensuring there is something for every reader whether they prefer curling up with a hardcover novel, enjoying a paperback series or listening to an audiobook on CD.

Adult hardcover readers will find a strong lineup of new fiction, including The Tattered Cover, the eighth installment in Ellery Adams’ Secret, Book and Scone series. Holiday charm is featured in Jenny Colgan’s The Secret Christmas Library, while suspense fans can dive into Patricia Cornwell’s Sharp Force and Jonathan Kellerman’s Coyote Hills. Additional titles include Innocence Road by Laura Griffin, The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow, Wreck by Catherine Newman, Overdue by Stephanie Perkins, At Midnight Come the Cry by Julia Spencer-Fleming, The Sunshine Man by Emma Stonex, The Last Love Song by Lucinda Riley and The Forget-Me-Not Library by Heather Webber.

Mystery readers will also enjoy new additions from Irina Shapiro’s Tate and Bell Mystery series, including The Highgate Cemetery Murder, Murder at Traitor’s Gate, Murder at the Foundling Hospital, Murder at the Orpheus Theatre, Murder on Platform Four and Murder on the Prince Regent. These titles offer historical intrigue and fast-paced storytelling.

Adult paperback selections include Over Yonder by Sean Dietrich and books from Clara Pines’ Sweet Small Town series, including Please Send Snow and One Golden Ring. Nonfiction readers will find thoughtful and entertaining works such as Christine Kuehn’s Family of Spies, Clare Pooley’s How to Age Disgracefully and Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting.

The library has also expanded its juvenile hardback collection with several popular releases. Young readers can enjoy Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Partypooper, the twentieth book in Jeff Kinney’s bestselling series, along with Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man: Big Jim Believes. Also new is Gustavo, the Shy Ghost by Flavia Z. Drago.

Audiobook listeners can check out Nora Roberts’ The Seven Rings, the third installment in the Lost Brides trilogy, now available on CD.
