RUTLEDGE — Rutledge Middle School will host a special community benefit event, The Giving Screen, to support RMS teacher Heather Hayes on Saturday, November 8.
The event will feature a screening of The Parent Trap beginning at 2 p.m. inside the school gymnasium. Admission is $2, with children age 3 and under admitted free.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available for purchase during the movie.
A $10 barbecue dinner will also be offered, including a BBQ sandwich, chips, dessert and a drink. Meals can be preordered and picked up between noon and 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
All proceeds from The Giving Screen will go toward supporting Heather Hayes, who is a beloved member of the Rutledge Middle School faculty.
