Ruby Coffey

Ruby Evelyn Coffey, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 16, 2026.  Ruby was saved at a young age at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church in Washburn, TN and was a member of Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station, TN.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Goble and Essie Hipsher; brothers, Luther Hipsher and John K. Hipsher; sisters, Mary Taylor and Beulah Hancock; nieces, Linda Reay and Joyce Hancock; and nephew, Scott Hipsher.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Ronnie Coffey; son, Rod (Sandra) Coffey of Bean Station, TN; grandson, Seth Coffey of Rutledge, TN; granddaughter, Hope Coffey of Morristown; several nieces and nephews; and special family, Rick (Tracy) Coffman, Pam Harp, and Sophia Harp.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Smith Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Dalton officiating.  The funeral service will be 11 am on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Riverview Missionary Baptist Church with graveside services to follow in the church cemetery.
