Rutledge Little League is gearing up for the upcoming baseball and softball season with a series of important dates, opportunities and reminders for families, players and community members.

The league is currently accepting registrations for the new season, with both in-person and online sign-up options available. In-person sign-ups are scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 31 and Saturday, February 14 at Rutledge Elementary School. Online registration and additional details are available through QR codes included on league materials.
An official Evaluation Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 28. League officials stress that Evaluation Day is not a tryout but a required process used to assess player skills and help create balanced teams for the season. All registered players, with the exception of WeeBall participants, must attend to be eligible to play.

In addition to player registration, Rutledge Little League is seeking umpires for the upcoming season. The league is offering paid opportunities, training and flexible scheduling for those interested in supporting youth baseball and softball while earning compensation.
