SANTA CLARA – The Seattle Seahawks closed the NFL season in strong fashion Sunday night, defeating the New England Patriots 29-13 to capture the Super Bowl LX championship.
Seattle set the tone early with disciplined defense and a steady offense that controlled the flow of the game. The Seahawks moved the ball efficiently, converted scoring opportunities and kept New England from building momentum, forcing the Patriots to play from behind for much of the night.
Defensively, Seattle limited big plays and applied pressure at key moments, helping control field position and keep the Patriots off balance. On offense, the Seahawks stayed patient, extending drives and capitalizing when opportunities arose.
New England made a brief push late to cut into the lead, but Seattle answered with key stops and smart execution to close out the game.
The victory gives the Seahawks their second Super Bowl championship. Seattle’s first title came on February 2, 2014, when the team defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII.
