Stephen Edward Strader

Stephen Edward Strader, age 55, of Rutledge, TN passed away on October 3, 2025. 

He was an employee of Keurig Dr. Pepper with 16 years of service. 

Stephen was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing and late-night campfires. He loved history and enjoyed pulling antique tractors that he had built and restored. He was the man who could fix anything and never hesitated to lend a hand. He shared his knowledge freely and loved teaching others. 

He was a beloved husband, devoted father and cherished friend. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his generous heart and the joy he brought to everyone that knew him. 

His love for his family was endless, and his kindness left a lasting mark on friends and the community alike. His laughter, wisdom and spirit will forever live in the hearts of all who loved him. 

Preceded in death by his Father, Charles Strader, and Mother-in-Law, Linda Watkins Phillips. Survived by loving wife, Leslie Phillips Strader, Daughter, Macy Strader and Son, Britt Strader—all of Rutledge; Mother, Sue Strader; Sister, Becky {Wayne} Smith and Brothers, Jonathan {Heather} Strader and Matthew {Amber} Strader; Nephew, Caleb Strader and Niece, Zoey Strader; Father-in-Law, Johnny Phillips, Sister-in-law, Lacy Phillips and Dear friend, Ed Shelby; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Countless Friends. 

Pallbearers: His Maintenance Department Family at Keurig Dr Pepper. 

The family will receive friends Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home. The funeral to follow at 7:00pm with Jeffrey Sinnamon officiating. Graveside services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00am.
