GRAINGER COUNTY – Crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation have reported for duty across the region in anticipation of possible winter weather.
According to TDOT, trucks have been loaded and crews are prepared to deploy to their assigned routes when conditions warrant. Officials said weather forecasts will continue to be monitored and plans adjusted as necessary to respond to changing conditions.
Forecasters are also watching the potential for winter weather across Grainger County, with cold temperatures creating the possibility for snow or icy conditions. While exact impacts remain uncertain, even light precipitation could result in slick travel conditions, particularly on bridges, secondary roads and shaded areas.
Motorists are encouraged to remain alert, stay informed through official weather updates and use caution if winter weather develops.
