WASHBURN – Washburn School has begun its annual Angel Tree program, giving community members the opportunity to help make the holidays brighter for local students and families in need.
The Angel Tree is located at the front entrance of the elementary building. Those wishing to sponsor an angel from the tree can visit Mrs. Traci in the elementary building or Mrs. Sheila in the high school. Each tag represents a child, with information about age and gift wishes to guide donors in their selections.
Organizers say the program has become a cherished Washburn tradition, uniting staff, students and community members in the spirit of giving.
For questions or to learn more about how to participate, contact Mrs. Stephanie Davidson, Mrs. Caitlin Cupp, or Mrs. Tara Cornett.
Washburn School extends its appreciation to all who contribute, reminding everyone that even the smallest act of kindness can help make a child’s Christmas a little brighter.
